Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support external auditors during audits.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and assist in month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) to streamline financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
