Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Assist in the budget preparation, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for the organization.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely processing and accuracy.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during the review process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a significant plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
