Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and reconcile bank accounts
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for key business units
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with supporting documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial audits and regulatory reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (QuickBooks/SAP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
