The Role:
As our Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. You will manage complex accounting cycles, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide insightful financial analysis to support executive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform account reconciliations for various general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and inter-company eliminations.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Assist with the annual audit process by providing requested schedules and documentation.
- Prepare and review journal entries and assist in the budgeting process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex accounting issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and GAAP compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
