Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and budget forecasting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on audits, tax filings, and process improvements
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced ERP systems and reporting tools
- Lead financial projects including system implementations and process automation initiatives
- Prepare executive-level financial statements and variance analysis reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with pivot tables/VBA
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audits, and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proven track record of process improvement and automation in accounting workflows
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
