Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment cycles
- Coordinate annual audits and tax compliance with external partners
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for department heads
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
