Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee financial reporting packages ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy for executive stakeholders
- Lead internal audit initiatives and SOX compliance documentation
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes
- Mentor junior accountants and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience in financial services or wealth management highly desirable
