In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance with GAAP, and support strategic decision-making through detailed financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting.
