Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop financial models for budget forecasting and strategic planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Proven track record of managing complex financial reporting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory compliance
