Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and GAAP standards.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare monthly financial reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
