Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and budgets.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes and ensure timely collections.
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Assist in tax preparation and filings for federal, state, and local requirements.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA certification or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
