Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Prepare and review tax documents, including sales tax filings and quarterly returns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced accounting software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or private companies
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of Nevada state tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (CPA) highly desirable
