We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Mesa, Arizona. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the monthly close process and ensure all reconciliations are completed accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensuring tax compliance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain internal controls and budgeting processes.
- Prepare variance analysis reports and present findings to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
