Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes for diverse client portfolios
- Lead internal control audits and compliance documentation
- Develop and implement automated accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online
- Coordinate tax planning and filing with external CPA firms
- Mentor junior accountants on GAAP standards and best practices
- Present financial insights to stakeholders via interactive dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multi-state compliance requirements
- Experience with automated accounting workflows (e.g., Bill.com, Hubdoc)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Remote work proficiency with reliable home office setup
