Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing with 99.5% accuracy
- Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across all financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and controls
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting initiatives with data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and reducing costs
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
