Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Prepare financial statements, variance analyses, and executive-level reporting
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and process optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Implement internal controls and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial data
