Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and intercompany accounting
- Lead internal control audits and SOX compliance initiatives
- Analyze financial data trends and prepare executive reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Implement process improvements in accounting workflows
- Maintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
