Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with SOX compliance focus
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis for multi-million dollar portfolios
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems like Oracle/NetSuite
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing with weekly distribution
- Conduct internal audits and ensure GAAP adherence across all financial activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and financial reporting tools
- Proven expertise in month-end closes and financial statement preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory reporting
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
