Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives across departments
- Coordinate external audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff and oversee workflow distribution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience leading financial reporting cycles
