Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Oversee the annual budgeting process and assist in forecasting financial performance.
- Perform variance analysis to identify trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve operational efficiency and financial controls.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
