Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, month-end closings, and financial reporting
- Oversee AP/AR processes and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for executive stakeholders
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX/GAAP compliance
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Coordinate tax preparation processes with external auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA skills
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting standards and regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional financial projects
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
