Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly and annual closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analysis, and monthly reports.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve complex discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and external financial audits.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
