Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Develop financial models and conduct variance analysis for operational insights
- Coordinate external audits and ensure tax compliance filings are accurate and timely
- Maintain internal controls and implement process improvements for efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with pivot tables/VBA
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
