Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger system, ensuring accuracy of all financial transactions and account balances.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage the processing of invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and cross-functional departments to support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
