Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead tax preparation processes and liaise with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or private sector exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP experience a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities to translate complex financial data clearly
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
