Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and maintain complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors for seamless compliance
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with department heads on budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite/QuickBooks) and Excel
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
