Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliation
- Analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and evolving financial regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season
- Implement process improvements using advanced Excel and QuickBooks
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax codes, and SOX compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
