Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting and financial reporting cycles with precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis to identify financial trends.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely collections and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and external audit schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA eligible is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
