Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage daily financial operations, including general ledger reconciliation and bank account management.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist with external audits and internal control reviews to mitigate financial risk.
- Prepare and file state and federal tax returns, ensuring full compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is highly desirable.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax laws, and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
