Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger functions, including reconciling accounts and performing variance analysis.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the annual budget preparation and periodic forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
