Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls
- Collaborate with tax specialists to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage 100, and MS Excel
- Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
