Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and timely.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management and client invoicing.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Perform variance analysis and prepare budget reports for executive leadership.
- Collaborate with external auditors and internal departments to resolve complex accounting issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
