Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes to support executive decision-making.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analyses to identify areas for process improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Oversee accounts receivable collections and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
