Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist with external audits and tax preparations to ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Lead the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
