Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts for key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
