Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 150+ employees
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership and board meetings
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Implement process improvements in financial systems and reporting workflows
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing financial audits and regulatory reporting
