Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to identify variances.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification is a plus but not strictly required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
