Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with emphasis on GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial modeling and analysis
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven experience with month-end close and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial data clearly
