Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal tax regulations
- Lead financial forecasting and variance analysis initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on budget planning
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
