Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with strict attention to deadlines
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for client portfolio compliance
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with audit teams to facilitate smooth financial reviews
- Lead process improvement initiatives for accounting workflows
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with advanced functions
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Experience with audit preparation and financial controls
