Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis for leadership review
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and compliance checks
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making processes
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/mixed industry exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with financial reporting and regulatory compliance
