Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close procedures and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for client portfolios
- Implement internal controls to maintain SOX compliance
- Lead audit coordination processes and respond to regulatory inquiries
- Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions
- Experience with forensic accounting or internal controls
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in deadline-driven environments
