Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end closing processes and reconciliations across 15+ accounts
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for 3 business units
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and tax requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven ability to lead financial projects from conception to completion
