Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and expense management systems
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Implement process automation initiatives to enhance financial operations efficiency
- Maintain accurate financial records using NetSuite and SAP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in remote roles
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record in process optimization and automation implementation
- Exceptional communication skills for remote stakeholder collaboration
- Experience in tech or fintech industry highly desirable
