Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Oversee bank reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis for financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity in financial systems
- Conduct internal audits and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions
- Lead special projects including system implementations and process re-engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for clear financial reporting across departments
