Responsibilities
- Manage complex general ledger operations and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Lead audit procedures and ensure SOX compliance across all financial activities
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Optimize accounting workflows using advanced ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accountants and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/corporate settings
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
