Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Analyze variance reports and implement process improvements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Lead internal audits and support external examinations
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance and Nevada state regulations
- Proven experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Sage 100)
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
