Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations for 500+ transactions
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews
- Prepare complex tax filings and regulatory reports
- Develop financial models for strategic planning
- Maintain SOX compliance documentation
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- CPA certification required
- 5+ years public or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and SAP
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA preferred)
- Expertise in GAAP and Maryland tax regulations
- Strong Excel/Power BI skills
- Excellent written communication abilities
