Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Month-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, adjustments, and variance analysis.
  • Compliance & Audits: Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure full compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet accounts and intercompany transactions to ensure data consistency.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP principles, financial analysis, and budgeting processes.
