Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 10-15 diverse corporate clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations
- Lead tax compliance initiatives and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements using NetSuite and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Mentor junior accountants on GAAP compliance and internal controls
- Support M&A due diligence and integration accounting activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit coordination
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
